Energy Tekes Technology Programme International co-operation The programme participates in the following co-operation networks: IEA Bioenergy - Energy from thermal conversion of MSW and RDF (Task 23) - Energy from biological conversion of organic waste (Task 24) ISWA The International Solid Waste Association NOVEM, the Netherlands - Waste to Energy Programme Tekes and NOVEM have agreed upon data transfer on the energy use of wastes and on co-operation. Additional information about the work and the project of Novem: www.biomasster.nl NOVEM and Tekes ordered KEMA and VTT to perform the analysis of the feasibility of introducing Finnish technolgies in the Netherlands and vice versa with the help of countryspecific inventories and exchange of information. Based on the analysis of the energy from waste situation, recommendations are formulated for a fruitful cooperation in this area.
