This four-year food research programme is emphasising the
development of specific technologies for tailored food quality attributes. It is based on
experiences gained from previous VTT food programmes, Future Foods and Minimal

The programme aims at:
- developing technology and expertise for innovative use of plant raw
materials
- designing the physiological functionality of plant raw materials
- improvement and stabilisation of food taste
- to give new knowledge for food industry about consumer attitudes
towards novel foods
