Forest Fire Management

The forest fire fighting philosophy consists of three parts: prevention, detection and extinguishing. Each of these parts supports each other, and together they form a system for controlling forest fires.

If forest fires did occur, damage assessment is needed to determine the economical, ecological and social impact and to improve the fire risk assessment.
