I - Overview

In addition to the standard version Kulu includes options, They can be used together with the standard version or also as an independent application. Options are based on Focus Six software, that offers versatile and wide features for all users of Kulu.

Options are especially useful for those organizations who has a big number of properties. Kulu options offers much more and wider reporting and analysing features than the standard version. By options it is also easy to modify Kulu according the needs of each user. Options offers among other things features as discussed below:

Groupping of properties

You can group properties without any limits. Groups can be composed according to the use, administration, management, location etc. After that you can take reports for one property, any group of them or for all properties. At once you can produce reports or graphs for a big group of properties. Output can be directed either to the screen or printer.

Versatile reports

Through Options you will get more versatile reporting and graphing features. Same report can include several properties and you can easily compare properties with each others. For example properties having the same caracteristics (like schools, office houses etc.) can be reported according their specific consumption in descending order.

Options offers also quick and easy way to create new reports not yet included. At the moment for several users of Kulu has been build many kinds of reports, as an example summary report.

Through Options several Kulu users produce clear and compact feedback for a big amount of consumers or clients. For example one report page can contain all essential information about consumptions in one property. Next to an example produced by scanner. .

Effective and versatile maintenance of consumption data

Options offers also tools for more quick and effective input-functions. These are useful especially when you have numerous properties and meters. Options includes also routines for maintenance of forecast (target) consumption. It can be fed directly from keyboard based on separate analyses or calculated by Kulu according to consumptions of previous years. After this you can compare consumption with forecast.

Options includes also tools to change property codes and meter numbers.

Wider content of data

Compared to standard version options gives also much more possibilities for maintaining the characteristic data of properties, weather, personnel,etc. New databases can be created and they can be used together with other information in Kulu for reporting and analysing purposes. Options includes also calculated average cooling of district heating water.

Joining and analysing of databases.

Through options it is possible to join databases of different users. Several big Kulu users have decentralized their control and monitoring activities to regional, administrative and respective units. Every unit can take care all of their own properties (monitoring objects) by fast and effective way.

Databases of different units can be joined for example through networks and reports and graphs can be produced for the decision making on the level of the whole organisation.

If there are plenty of properties to control and the maintenance of data is dealed by several persons often some mistakes can exist. That is why options includes analysing routines, through which errors defective data can be found.

WEB-based processing

Through options operations of Kulu can also be moved to internet/intranet environment. Reports can be produced directly in HTML-format and e.g. energy feedback can be delivered as a part of WEB-pages.
