Airport and local transportation:
FINNAIR operates a bus service between Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and downtown Helsinki, see http://www.finnair.com/filecontent/com/citybus_com.txt The bus trip takes about 30 minutes. The taxi fare from the airport to downtown Helsinki or to Otaniemi is about EUR 30. There is also a possibility of using a group taxi. There are also regional shuttlebuses available from the airport to downtown Helsinki, consult in the web http://www.ytv.fi/ENG/transport/timetables/.

Public transportation in Espoo and between the cities of Espoo and Helsinki is provided by frequent buses. Single trip tickets can be bought on the buses for EUR 2-3, the fee depending on whether you have a trip inside a city or a trip crossing city boundaries (requiring a regional ticket). Weather:
The weather in February is usually frosty. The average temperature in the Helsinki region is -3°C. However, sometimes temperature can fall as low as -25°C (The all-time record is -51.5°C in Northern Finland). The use of multiple layers of clothing and protecting the head and hands helps to keep warm in the cold weather.
