Expeshare - Experience Sharing in Mobile Peer Communities

Welcome to the ExpeShare web site. This site contains public information on the ExpeShare project, which resorts under the Eureka ITEA programme. ExpeShare combines the efforts of 20 partners from 3 countries (France, Spain, and Finland) to produce innovative solutions for peer to peer networking, content management and interaction.

ExpeShare develops concepts and technologies that help people share multimedia content and experiences with each other. Content such as music, pictures, videos and games is often contained in mobile devices that have limited support for exchange and rendering.

This project develops peer-to-peer networking technologies that facilitate sharing between mobile devices while taking into account the interests of the content owners. Furthermore, the project develops new interaction concepts for managing content and communities, and for facilitating rendering of the content on a variety of devices. The concepts and technologies are evaluated in pilots and options for alternative business models are explored.
